Located on the southern coast and a member of Small Luxury Hotels of the World, Le Telfair Golf & Spa Resort has been created on the site of one of Mauritius' best kept and most jealously guarded secrets, the former sugar estate of Bel Ombre.
Designed to recapture the past history of the area, the resort has been created in a colonial style which is most noticeable in the elegant and spacious rooms with furniture inspired by the French period. Rooms and suites are set in twenty villa style buildings with the majority facing the sea and others enjoy a view of the river and mountains beyond. The Citronniers River runs through Le Telfair and this combined with the water features creates a romantic and serene ambiance. Junior Suites have a hexagonal shaped lounge area with a large veranda. Junior Suites can also inter-lead with Superior rooms for families.
Senior Suites are very spacious with a private dining room, living area and large terrace/balcony.
The two Ocean Suites enjoy a stunning location right on the beach and are even more spacious than the Senior Suites.
All suites are located on the ground floor have an outdoor shower.
